How to work in Seedflow.

Follow this order. A new workspace already has starter accounts and lists — review them, then invoice, bill, keep books, and open reports. Seedflow is in beta, so screens can still change.

Review the books setup and the lists invoices and bills need.

  1. 5Accounting settings and chart of accountsFiscal year, auto-post, chart of accounts, and account categories — plus which posting accounts auto-journal needs.
  2. 6Sales and purchase posting accountsAR, income, VAT, AP, expense, and bank accounts invoices and bills use when auto-post is on.
  3. 7ProductsCategories, units, tax types, item type, then each product’s tax and posting accounts.

Sales

Invoice first. Estimates, sales orders, recurring invoices, and payments are follow-ons.

  1. 10Create and send an invoiceCustomer, lines, tax, then Save or Save & Finalize. Email and PDF come from preview.
  2. 11Estimates and sales ordersQuote, then order, then invoice — or skip them. Neither posts a journal.
  3. 12Recurring invoicesSchedule copies of an invoice. The template does not post; each generated invoice can.
  4. 13Record a customer paymentPost against finalized invoices. Updates the balance — it does not create a cash journal.

Purchases

Books

Documents vs a journal you enter yourself, then the ledger, bank reconciliation, and tax calendar.

  1. 17Documents vs journal entriesInvoices, bills, and supplier payments can post for you. Use a journal when there is no document — and never both.
  2. 18Record a journal entry yourselfPick a book first, then add balanced lines. Sales, purchase, receipt, disbursement, and general each have their own required fields.
  3. 19General ledgerPick an account and a date range. Each journal line shows debit, credit, and a running balance — including drafts and voided entries.
  4. 20Bank reconciliationType statement lines, match them to posted journals on that bank account, and complete when the difference is zero.
  5. 21Tax calendarReminder dates for BIR forms based on your tax profile. Seedflow does not generate, file, or track submissions.

  1. 22Open reportsFind a report on the hub, see which ones your plan unlocks, then PDF or Excel. Email is not available yet.
  2. 23Financial statementsProfit & Loss for a period, balance sheet and trial balance as of a date — from posted journals only.
  3. 24Sales reportsInvoices, sales by customer or product, posted customer payments, and A/R aging — not the same as Profit & Loss.
  4. 25Purchase reportsBills, purchases by supplier or product, and A/P aging — what you owe, not the same as expenses on Profit & Loss.
