Why Seedflow exists

A stronger financial foundation for growth.

As a business grows, financial information can quickly become scattered across spreadsheets, messages, and disconnected tools. That makes simple questions harder to answer and important tasks easier to miss.

Seedflow brings those everyday workflows into one clear workspace, helping you spend less time managing financial details and more time making decisions with confidence.

How it started

Built from a gap we kept seeing at work.

Seedflow did not start as a pitch deck. It started in 2016, when Paul Rueda saw that BIR filing was still done by hand — even though the operational systems were already in place — and began to conceptualize this product.

2016

The gap

Paul Rueda was already working as a full-stack developer and still studying at night. He first saw the gap at work. The company built operational systems — POS, enrollment, billing, invoicing, hotel management — and also ran accounting services. Those systems could produce sales reports, expenses, and P&L. Filing BIR still meant typing it all again into forms and the portal, every month, quarter, and year. When a deadline hit, the accounting team was buried in calculations and client follow-ups. That is when Paul conceptualized the idea that became Seedflow.

2017

First system

Paul built the first version — a working prototype for financial reports and operations that made those BIR numbers easier to work out, not a one-click filing product. He submitted it as his bachelor’s thesis. It was not a SaaS product yet.

2020

Nexus takes shape

After 2017 the team focused on their own careers. In 2020 Paul, Denis Guttierez, Pao Ramirez, and Eljei formed NexusLifeline Innovations as a real company. It was built to deliver custom systems as a service; product work happened in spare time. Paul kept developing this system, but it was not the priority yet.

2021

SeedInvoice

The name Seed appeared. They focused first on the invoicing system as SeedInvoice — not a smaller product, just the first slice they built. Paul made the system open source. He was the main contributor; Eric Pecson, a former colleague, also contributed. They kept developing it, still not the priority beside client work.

2025

Seedflow, revived

In 2025 Paul expanded the features he was building, beyond simple invoicing. The same year, Eljei reached out to Paul and Denis Guttierez about what Furnitures Pampanga needed — bookkeeping, invoicing, billing, and BIR compliance. Those needs lined up with the work Paul was already doing. Seedflow is that product: in use for a real business, and offered as SaaS so other companies can run their books the same way.
