Open reports

Open Reports when you already have invoices, bills, or journals to read back. The hub lists every report; a lock means the plan, not a missing toggle. How to run P&L, balance sheet, and trial balance is Financial statements. Sales and purchase packs are separate. Accounting → General ledger is the same screen as Reports → General Ledger Detail when ledger-detail reports are on the plan.

How to open it

You need the Reports permission. Custom roles and the seeded Admin and Member roles start with permissions off — turn Reports on, then save. Owner can open every report the plan allows. See Invite your team.

Open the hub

The hub is four groups: Financial & Accounting, Sales, Purchases & Payables, and Master Data & Lists. Search filters name, description, and tags on this page only. Grid and list change the layout; they do not change which cards are locked.

What you can do on the hub

ControlWhat it does
Search reportsNarrows the list as you type. Locked cards still show if they match
Grid / listCards versus rows. Same reports, same locks
View reportOpens that report. Back returns to this hub
Not on your planLock icon. The card is not a link. Pasting the URL still sends you back here

Permission vs plan

Role decides whether Reports appears at all. Plan decides which cards open. Beta (90 days) includes every group. After Beta, Free keeps financial statements and the three master-data lists. See Plan and billing.

Professional and Enterprise match Beta for these groups. Starter adds ledger-detail reports to Free, but not sales, purchasing, aging, or inventory.

PDF, Excel, and Email

On a report, PDF and Excel use the same filters as the screen (dates, location, customer, and so on). They also need the Reports permission. Email is on the toolbar but is not available yet — it stays disabled.

Period reports (P&L, Sales Report, Bills Report) need a from and to date. This Month already has both. As-of reports (balance sheet, trial balance, aging) need the as-of date.

Dates and location

Most period reports open on This Month. As-of reports use today’s date until you change it. Location is optional: leave it blank for the whole workspace.

What a location filter actually uses

Report kindLocation means
P&L, balance sheet, trial balance, Book of Accounts, Subsidiary Ledger, Inventory ReportThe journal (or inventory document) location. Auto-posted invoice and bill journals copy the document location. Journals with no location drop out when a location is selected — see Locations and classes
Sales Report, Sales by Customer/Product, Purchases by Supplier/ProductThe invoice or bill location field
A/R Aging, A/P Aging, Bills Report, Customer Payments, the three listsNo location filter on those screens

Classes stay on journal lines. There is no class filter on report screens today.

Ledger reports on this hub

These four sit under Financial & Accounting. They need ledger-detail on the plan (Beta and Starter; not Free). They are not P&L.

Ledger reports

ReportWhat it is
General Ledger DetailSame screen as Accounting → General Ledger. Pick one account. Drafts and voided lines still show. Full how-to: General ledger
Book of AccountsJournal lines across books for a date range. Filter location and book (Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Disbursement, General). Drafts and voided lines are included — same rule as the ledger. This is not a BIR books-of-accounts filing pack
Subsidiary LedgerPick a customer or supplier first, then accounts (AR/AP from Sales Journal / Purchase Journal are the usual start). Running balance per account as of a date. Location is optional. Empty until you choose a party
Journal Entries ListingWhole journals (not one account). Date range, book, status (draft / posted / voided), account, or entry number. Book filters follow the same journal-book permissions as Accounting → Journal Entries

Customer, supplier, and product lists

These are printable catalogs, not activity reports. Free includes them. There is no date or location filter — the list is everyone (or every product) in the workspace as of today.

What each list prints

ListColumns
Customer ListCode, name, phone, address, status
Supplier ListCode, name, phone, address, status
Product ListCode, name, cost, selling price. All item types, not only inventory

Inventory Report

Open Reports → Inventory Report. It lists inventory-type products that already have a stock row. Filter as-of date, location, product, and category. Columns: code, product, category, unit, received, sold, adjusted, closing stock.

Closing stock is received minus sold, plus adjustments, using posted bills, posted invoices, and posted stock adjustments dated on or before the as-of date. Draft documents do not move this report. Non-inventory and service products do not appear.
