Tax Calendar lists BIR filing reminders for the active organization, using the Tax tab on Set up your organization. That Tax tab is how invoices and bills calculate tax. This calendar is only dates. You still file in eFPS, eBIRForms, or with your accountant.
You need the Tax Calendar permission — see Invite your team.
How to open it
| Step | Click |
|---|---|
| 1 | Tax Calendar |
The month on screen is what you browse (Today, previous/next). Summary cards show how many deadlines this month, the next upcoming date, past due, and how many are provisional.
Click a form code for filing detail: name, covered period, frequency, and guidance. Review tax profile opens the organization Tax tab. The agenda list (list icon) is the same events as the month grid.
Filters
| Filter | Meaning |
|---|---|
| All deadlines | Every reminder whose due date falls in this month |
| Due soon | Due today through the next 14 days |
| Past due | Due date is before today. Today is not past due |
| Provisional | The date still needs BIR confirmation (every seeded form uses this rule today) |
Events are generated from the organization’s tax classification, percentage tax, and business entity. Withholding forms appear only if Settings → Purchases → Disbursements has CWT Payable (BIR 1601-E) set. Compensation / payroll forms (1601C, 1604C) never appear — there is no payroll module.
Corporation, foreign branch, and GOCC use the 1702 path. Other entities (including sole proprietor) use 1701. Accounting fiscal-year start does not move these dates — the calendar assumes a calendar-year taxpayer.
What turns a form on
| Your profile | Forms that can appear |
|---|---|
| VAT registered | 2550M (monthly VAT), 2550Q (quarterly VAT), plus income tax and any withholding forms you qualify for |
| Non-VAT with percentage tax on | 2551M and 2551Q, plus income tax and withholding |
| Non-VAT with percentage tax off (8% path) | No 2551*. Income tax and withholding can still appear |
| CWT Payable account set | 0619E, 1601EQ, 1604E |
| CWT Payable empty | Those three EWT forms stay hidden |
The sidebar only lists BIR filing deadlines. SEC and LGU catalogs exist in the product data, but this screen does not show them.
Covered period is the month, quarter, or prior year the return is for — not the month you are looking at. Monthly VAT in January is usually due the following month. Annual 1701/1702 in April cover the previous calendar year. Q4 1701Q / 1702Q are omitted because the annual return is meant to cover that quarter.
Seedflow baseline (confirm with BIR)
| Form | Frequency | Baseline due (calendar year) |
|---|---|---|
| 2550M | Monthly | 20th of the following month |
| 2550Q | Quarterly | 25th of the month after quarter-end |
| 2551M | Monthly | 20th of the following month |
| 2551Q | Quarterly | 25th of the month after quarter-end |
| 0619E | Monthly | 10th of the following month. Skipped for Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec coverage — use 1601EQ |
| 1601EQ | Quarterly | Last day of the month after quarter-end |
| 1701Q | Quarterly | 15th of the second month after Q1–Q3. No Q4 card |
| 1702Q | Quarterly | 30th of the second month after Q1–Q3. No Q4 card |
| 1701 / 1702 | Annual | 15 April, covering the prior calendar year |
| 1604E | Annual | 1 March, covering the prior calendar year |
If a nominal due date falls on Saturday or Sunday, the card moves to the next Monday. The original date stays on the grid as a dashed, struck-through marker.
Changing a deadline here is not possible — the catalog is global, not a to-do list you edit. If a form is missing, fix the tax profile or CWT payable account, then come back.
